Sound Deadening and Insulation for Defenders
Our much-loved Land Rover Defenders can be on the noisy side at times; however, the good news is that this can be alleviated with Sound Deadening and Insulation sheets. There are no quick fixes to reduce road and engine noise and if you want the problem solved properly it requires a bit of work, but in the end, you’ll be happier with the vast improvement in the quality of the drive. Unwanted noise is created within most vehicles, especially the Land Rover Defender. This occurs across most parts of the vehicle, such as the doors, the engine bay etc. All of which need to be treated using several different methods to achieve worthwhile results.
Steering Cowl Shrouds for Land Rover Defenders 1984-2016
Add the upper shroud to cart, then choose which lower shroud is applicable and then also add that to cart separately.
Upper Shroud:
LR048112 : Chassis VINs from DA431465 to EA999999 (2013 to 2014 MY). MTC3499 (superseded by LR048112) VINS: to 5A620340 (2005 MY). QRB500160PMA (superseded by LR048112) VINS: from 5A620341 to DA431464 (2005 to 2013 MY).
Lower Shroud versions:
MTC3801 : Only for Chassis VIN range: to 1A622423 (2001 MY)
LR048223 : Only for Chassis VINs from DA431465 to EA999999 (2013 to 2014 MY), AND LR part number MTC3500 (superseded by LR048223) : VINS 2A622424 to DA431464 (2002 to 2013 MY)
