Captive Nut Retaining Plates for Bumper Bolts for Defender 90/110 and Discovery 1 (PAIR)

This product is a replacement for corroded or damaged captive nut blocks used for securing replacement bumpers on Defender 90/110 and Discovery 1. Also known as Nut Inserts or Tapping Block, the set includes a pair of blocks which, when used with existing nuts and bolts will enable you to complete the job.

We strongly recommend using copper grease to increase lifetime of the product and allow for easier maintenance and removal in the future. We have 2 options, the genuine Land Rover part and the Masai designed alternative. The advantage of the Masai design is that it makes positioning of the bracket while fitting much easier due to the extended shape.
