Its made from heavy duty 6mm thick mild steel with zinc plating. This Defender Steering Guard is very easy to fit, it bolts onto the chassis. Our Land Rover Defender Steering Guard kit includes stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers fitting kit. Standard finish is zinc plating but can easily also be spray painted prior to fitting. If your Land Rover Defender's sill panels are worse for wear try these 3mm thick aluminium ONE piece Sill Panels.
The cleats are bonded on using structural adhesive to avoid sink marks on the face of sill panel. They have been CNC pressed, laser cut, welded and dressed off ready to apply paint and fit.

- 8no M6 A4-80 x 25mm Hex Head Bolts
- 4no M6 A4-80 x 30mm Hex Head Bolts
- 4no M6 A4-70 x 25mm Domed Head Cup Sq Bolts
- 28no M6 A4 Flat Washers
- 16no M6 A4-80 Flanged Serrated Nuts
- Please note: A4-80 is the equivalent of Mild Steel 8.8 high tensile bolts
