Puma Bonnets for Land Rover Defender

Puma Bonnet for Land Rover Defender

  • Suitable for all Defenders from 200tdi to Puma models.
  • We have both genuine OEM Land Rover Puma Bonnets made of aluminium (part number BKA710140), and cheaper aftermarket versions – both standard and reinforced.
  • The aftermarket version Land Rover Defender Puma Bonnet is made of GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic with steel fixtures for original fasteners; it is durable and flexible for heavy use. It is light-weight compared to original aluminium Defender bonnets – the net weight is 10KG. Noise transmission is much less than the OEM aluminium version. It will reduce the engine noise.
  • NOTE : Both types are unfinished – meaning they require some filling, primer and top coats of paint.

This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of Land Rover motoring history.

This is a limited edition 50th Anniversary V8 Land Rover Defender 90 Automatic. Only 1071 of these sought-after vehicles were built worldwide and 385 for the UK.

The vehicle has been extensively and sympathetically refurbished to a high standard by the craftsman at Masai 4x4 in Staffordshire.

The original chassis has been replaced, and treated, with the bodywork has been fully stripped down and resprayed in the original Atlantis Blue.

The driving experience has been enhanced by the fitting of sound deadening throughout, new carpet set and seats.

The original factory-fitted radio/ cassette is included, but the speaker set has been upgraded to improve the overall sound.

Additionally, Alpine tweeter speakers have been fitted in the dashboard to enhance vocals and high-frequency sounds.

The alloys are in excellent condition with plenty of tread on the BF Goodrich tyres.

Having done only 79,357 miles, the 190hp 4.0L petrol V8 with automatic transmission engine is in excellent condition, and sounds and drives like a V8 should.

The engine has been tuned and the valves and injectors have been replaced. Reg year 1999.

This is a beautiful example of a rare car and a future collectible likely to only increase in value.

This is currently fitted with a private plate which will NOT be included in the sale. The original registration of the vehicle is RYA10X
